What box will I choose…
As both a rule breaker and a rule follower, I usually find myself outside of most boxes. So here I am forced to choose a box. Watercolor or collage.
I choose both.
Double box.
I have decided not to worry if it’s allowed.
But you should definitely leave the white of the paper. It’s the rule I won’t break.
What began as experimenting on my piece, Deep Water, led to the art of creating textures and backgrounds to tear and layer. Recreating, wanting to build something I could touch and feel. Examining each torn edge and making a whole.
Who am I? A mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a friend, and in my Nook, I am a human, seeing a moment and wanting to write it down in paint.
